The Best Ways To Wear The Rainbow For Pride Month

If you are a member of the LGBTQ+ community, you have a lot to be proud of from your culture and history, to simply being who you are. And if you’re not a member of the LGBTQ+ community, there is still a lot to celebrate in support of the LGBTQ+ community as a straight ally. So when it comes to shouting about the power in being who you truly are, Pride month is the best time to do so. In commemoration of the Stonewall Riots, which occurred at the end of June, it's a great time to join up, celebrate and support. 

To commemorate the most iconic symbol of the LGBTQ+ community in the best way we know how, we’re looking to the rainbow flag for our pride style inspo. Wearing the rainbow is the best way to show your support and/or show your pride this month. In honour of Pride month and the 50 year anniversary of the Stonewall Riots, a lot of brands have hopped onto the celebration by releasing clothes that commemorate the occasion. Namely including slogan and graphic tees that feature a rainbow and/or have a slogan in support of Pride, i.e. River Island’s ‘We Are One’ t-shirt, a part of their ‘Love Not Labels’ line.

If you’re celebrating Pride, you’ve got to do it head to toe. To show off the rainbow from the base of your outfit with a pair of rainbow striped sandals from Dune.
