Bluewater is delighted to announce the relaunch of their Nature Trail, now in partnership with the classic children’s book, The Very Hungry Caterpillar, celebrating 50 years since the book was first published.
To enjoy the trail, little ones can pick up a free trail map in mall and follow The Very Hungry Caterpillar-themed signs to explore the lakes, play areas, bug hotels, stepping logs and hopscotch!
Amidst their adventures, children will also discover an incredible, giant wooden sculpture of The Very Hungry Caterpillar crafted by local sculptor Steven Porchmouth. There’s also a new spider climbing frame in the heart of the Nature Trail, adding to the host of fun outdoor activities.
Got a teeny-tiny shopper to bring with you to Bluewater? Don’t worry – we’ll make it easy with our accessible parent and child facilities.
Take the lift to the upper level of the Welcome Halls for baby feeding and changing areas. You can also opt to use the parent and child rooms located in the Village toilet area (lower level). What’s more, in The Winter Garden you’ll find a wonderful space complete with a feeding room and bottle warming facilities. There is also a separate room for changing in this area. If you’re out and about, stores such as John Lewis and House of Fraser also provide baby feeding and changing rooms, so there’s always somewhere close by, wherever you are.
We’re pleased to work with The Carwash Company throughout our car parks at Bluewater. You can find them in the lower Guildhall Car Park (Red), lower Rose Gallery Car Park (Green) and lower Thames Walk Car Park (Blue). Prices start at just £9.95 to have your car cleaned while you relax and enjoy your shopping trip.
Bluewater has three ChargeBox® phone charging stations in the mall, ideal for when your battery goes flat at the most inconvenient times. To use a ChargeBox® simply connect your phone, lock the compartment, take your key and relax. ChargeBox® supports most smartphones e.g. iPhone, Blackberry and Samsung, as well as many other brands that charge using the Apple USB and microUSB connectors. Hurrah!
