Bluewater Waterstones is delighted to welcome back Ant Middleton to the store. Ant will be meeting fans and signing copies of his book, 'The Fear Bubble', on Sunday 1st September at 2.30pm.
Born in Portsmouth in 1981, Ant grew up in rural France but even at a young age, knew he wanted to join the armed forces. In 1997 at the age of 16, he joined the Royal Engineers before joining the Royal Marines five years later. He also spent time in 9 Parachute Squadron Royal before passing the selection tests to join the Special Boat Service in 2008, meaning he has served in the 'holy trinity' of the UK's elite special forces. He left the armed services in 2012 and worked as a security expert in Africa.
More recently, Ant has been the Chief Instructor on the hit Channel 4 show 'SAS:Who Dares Wins', and at the forefront of the show 'Mutiny'
In early 2018, Ant travelled around the UK on his tour 'An Evening with Ant Middleton'. His book 'First Man In: Leading From The Front' was published by HarperNonFiction and reached No. 1 on The Sunday Times Best Seller List. Ant also was also filmed climbing Mount Everest, an adventure which tested him further than ever before.
This event is free of charge but fans are advised to arrive early to avoid disappointment. Fans must have a copy of 'The Fear Bubble' in order to meet Ant. For further information contact Waterstones Bluewater on 01322 624831.
