More about Fred Perry

Triple Wimbledon champion Fred Perry founded his brand in 1952, designing the first Fred Perry pique tennis shirt himself the same year. What began life as a piece of sportswear quickly became something much more.

Today, the Laurel Wreath is still worn as a badge of honour, adopted by generations of British subcultures for over 60 years. The uniform of the non-uniform, proudly supporting a generation of sports-stars, rebels, musicians and film-makers.

With the pique tennis shirt as the starting point, Fred Perry continues to create timeless pieces – all proudly referencing the brand’s British sporting heritage. With a range of apparel, footwear and accessories, each piece is finished with an impeccable eye for detail and the instantly-recognisable Laurel Wreath.
